When your personas are developers, the best power users anyone could ask for, designing apps for them should be a piece of cake, right? But what if we add teenage video creators or media producers to that audience mix? Not so easy anymore.
Even developers are a varied group: frontend devs, backend devs, mobile devs, DevOps, etc. and each of those users have assumptions, tendencies, and needs that developer experience must address.
In this talk, Oana will ask if there is such a thing as UX specifically for developer experience: how do we address a wide range of audiences and how do we make design decisions differently based on the needs of each of those groups - from the first assumptions to using various techniques to gather data.
